You must inform Paddock Motorbike in advance if you wish to extend your rental. If you fail to notify us, an additional charge of €50 per day will apply on top of the vehicle's daily rental rate.

No. Once the rental period has started, the amount paid will not be refunded.

We do not issue refunds if the renter returns the scooter (and/or extras) before the date and time specified in the rental agreement.

Yes. To hire a motorbike from Paddock Motorbike, you must have previous experience of riding motorbikes, as well as holding the relevant driving licence.

The level of experience required may vary depending on the model and its engine capacity. Before confirming your hire, we may ask for details of your riding experience to ensure that the motorbike you have chosen is suitable for you.

The minimum age to rent a motorbike with Paddock Motorbike is 24 years. You must hold the appropriate driving licence and have previous experience riding motorbikes.

If your driving licence was issued outside the EU or a country with a reciprocal recognition agreement, you will need an International Driving Permit (IDP).

All our motorbikes include helmets for the rider and passenger, gloves, unlimited mileage, a phone holder with charging, an alarmed disc lock and access to Paddock Rider, our Tenerife motorcycle routes guide.

For motorcycles, we also include a riding jacket for the rider.

You must contact us; we will provide the necessary roadside assistance contact numbers. Tyre repair costs are not covered, and any temporary repairs will be charged at the end of the rental period.

You are not permitted to repair the motorbike yourself without authorisation.

Yes, Tenerife is generally safe. As a precaution, always use the steering lock and the alarmed disc lock included with the motorbike, especially at night.

All our motorbikes include compulsory third-party liability insurance, which covers personal injury and property damage caused to third parties whilst riding, in accordance with the terms of the policy.

The customer is liable for any damage caused to the motorbike itself during the hire period. However, we offer additional damage cover which allows you to limit this financial liability.

In the event of an accident, theft or damage, you must notify us as soon as possible. You must not carry out any repairs without our authorisation.

For €15 per day, you can take out additional cover that limits your financial liability to a maximum of €1,500 for any damage covered throughout the hire period.

This covers damage to the motorbike caused by accidents, falls, knocks and scrapes, as well as any accessories fitted to it.

This does not include theft, keys, helmets, jackets, gloves, intercoms or other accessories supplied separately. The exclusions and conditions set out in the contract apply.

Cover can be taken out when making your booking online or at our office before collecting the motorbike, and must be taken out for the entire hire period.

No. The security deposit is a refundable deposit, not the maximum amount you might have to pay for damage.

Without the additional cover, if the damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, you will have to pay the difference.

If you take out additional damage cover, your liability for the damage covered will be limited to a maximum of €1,500 for the entire hire period. Any damage or accessories excluded from this cover will be charged separately.

The amount of the deposit remains the same when taking out the additional cover.

Yes. When collecting your motorbike, you must provide a refundable security deposit. The amount depends on the model rented and is shown during the booking process.

The deposit can be paid in cash or by bank card and is refunded or released after checking the condition of the motorbike and confirming that there is no damage or outstanding charges.

The security deposit does not represent the maximum limit of liability for damage, and its amount does not change when additional damage cover is taken out.

When you collect the motorbike, the deposit for the model you have hired may be temporarily reserved on your card by means of a pre-authorisation.

There is no charge for this transaction, although during the hire period the amount held may temporarily reduce the balance or available credit limit on the card.

When you return the motorbike, we will check its condition. If there is no damage, outstanding charges or any other issues relating to the hire, we will request the release of the deposit.

Although Paddock Motorbike will release the funds immediately, the time it takes for the amount to reappear as available will depend on the bank and the card used.

The renter is responsible for paying any fines. A €25 administration fee will be charged for processing fine notifications.

If the authorities impound the vehicle due to a violation, the renter will be responsible for all resulting costs and losses.

The nearest airport is Tenerife South (TFS), 15 km from Paddock Motorbike. This makes hiring motorbikes near the South Airport very convenient for tourists.

The journey usually takes between 15 and 25 minutes and costs approximately €25–30.
